I have been using this product morning and evening for about a week now and I am showing significant improvements. I have had one new blemish appear (just yesterday), but before a week ago my chin was devastated by cystic pimples and now it is calmed significantly. Doesn't leave me shiny, does leave a tiny bit of residue if you use too much. All in all, it's worth the $.

I use this product after I wash and tone my skin with effaclar products, it seems to work immediately shrinking pimples. You will need a moisurizer though if your skin is dry-combination and I have finally found the one, Hydreane Riche by La Roche Posay.
I have tried every brand name out there, from Este Lauder, to Clinique to Lancome but La Roche Posay has a winner on their hands. I have highly problematic skin and every moisturizer seems to make me break out...this one works great, is an excellent base for foundation. My skin has improved over two weeks!

This is my second acne product from La Roche-Posay. The first was the Effaclar Duo. Both this and the Duo did not perform to expectations. The Duo dried my face out like crazy, even with only one application a day or every other day, and didn't help with my pimples so I returned it. About a year later I decided to give the Effeclar K a try. This product did not dry my face out like the Duo, however it had no effect on my occasional pimples and definatly did not help prevent any new ones from forming. I will say I don't have "acne", I only suffer from the occasional pimple mainly on my cheeks. I'd apply this on my cheeks if I had a pimple and not only would it not help the existing pimple go away faster, new pimples would form around it where I had applied the product. This is supposed to have some sort of "anti-relapse" formula, but it does no such thing. Maybe if my breakouts were worse I'd see a positive change in my skin, like other reviewers. I really wanted to love this product (and the Duo) but I didn't. Don't waste your time or money. I returned both products.

I just bought this at one of the Ulta stores and am utterly impressed by how effective it is! I applied it a few hours ago and I can already see the results, my skin is clearer, brighter and silkier!
Will stick to this product from now on!

This is amazing stuff! It gently cleans out your pores to help prevent your skin from breaking out. If you struggle with acne due to blocked pores, try this product and this line. It does cause some skin dryness, but you won't become a flaky mess. This is a more refined version of typical acne creams.

I love this stuff. I am 29 and my acne began at 22 being worse just before my cycle. This stuff (and the Effaclar Duo as a spot treament) cleared my skin in a week, make my skin nicer and smoother in 2 weeks and keeps it clear. The price is a little high but I have managed to find coupons and would buy without a coupon if I had to because it's that good.

It is not moisturising

Used two products together. This one with 1/5% Salicylic acid, and Belli acne control with 3% Colloidal sulfur and they work together like magic.

I have blackheads and a small acne problem.

I love this product! I've tried prescription gels (expensive, irritating, and possibly carcinogenic) as well as cheap alteratives (Clearisil, Clean and Clear, etc.) and this is by far the best. This is up there with prescription creams in effectiveness and it is better for you and non-irritating! It is also invisible. My only complaint is that I wish this was fragrance free, but to be honest, this fragrance really doesn't bother my skin. What a surprise!
